Filming experience

In our filming experience I and my group including Jackson, Phil and Joe got together at a specific location to try and figure out what filming techniques we should use along with where we should film this. Are get together contributed certain issues and understandings about how we are going to record our film.

We firstly met up at a park called Alexandra Park at the start of January and filmed 3 shots including a scene where the victim character was being followed using a tracking shot, forming the audience to believe that the camera shots were from the villains vision. As well as we filmed normal recordings of a basketball match to produce a normal environment for our film.

In our recordings I believe that what went well was that we got a good feeling for the camera allowing us to try new shots and investigate what shots would generate the best effects prior to our horror genre. Furthermore it has made us realise that the location picked was not the best location we could off used forming us to change the location to a more enclosed environment. Therefore we changed the location to a house, where we will be able to do more lighting effects and better camera angles. We also have found out what characters are playing which part and got a feel for the characteristics that will be given to each individual.

Now we are going to film are movie in a house and we are going to use the first use of filming to start off the movie to intrigue the scary atmosphere. We plan to be doing this in the February holidays, to give us enough to treat each shots and recordings with care and produce high quality scary footage.
