New House Location and Narrative

We decided to change the location and script for our film. This is because when we planned to film our narrative the weather was really awful. Therefore, it was affecting the quality of our filming.

As a result, we decided to film in Shea's house as our filming will not be weather dependent. The setting of the house would also be effective as we can create a creepy atmosphere using low-key lighting. The narrative is going to involve three boys in a bedroom chilling out and one the main protagonist goes downstairs to get a drink. He does not return when the other characters call his name.

This causes one character to go downstairs to look for him. Jacka suddenly hears a murmur in the cupboard so he goes to open the door. There is then a close-up shot of Phil tied up. This will create enigma codes as the audience will want to know who did this and where did they go.

Hopefully we will be able to adhere to the horror genre conventions through our new setting as we can create mysterious lighting, use props to create suspense and the house setting will be relatable. Audience members will find our film realistic and it will create even more tension and enigma codes.
