How
they link?
All the setting pictures link to our horror movie
because they were our first ideas to film our movie. Two of the setting
pictures have open fields. This is because they represent an isolation as there
is no people around. This would be good for a horror movie as it sets the mood
for an eerie/isolated atmosphere. The other two setting pictures show an
enclosed path surrounded by trees. This is a good setting for a horror movie
because it represents that there is only one path to take and will to an
unknown setting. This could foreshadow to the audience that the only path to
take will to to death. The two mask pictures shows to the audience that the evil character will always be unknown, this suggests to the audience that this movie will be mysterious. Also, this makes the evil character look more sinister because the audience don't what or who is behind the mask.
The weapon pictures shows the audience what the sinister character could use to kill/hurt the other characters. This also shows the horrific thoughts that the evil character is thinking, if he would use a machete to hurt normal civilians.
Mood board update: We have decided to not use the gun and just use the knife as this is a more realist weapon in england. We chose to film our movie in a house instead of the forest as it would make the audience feel more claustrophobic and enclosed. We chose to use a balaclava instead of a mask because most robbers use balaclava, so this would make our movie seem more realistic.
