This horror film starts of differently to the quite a lot of horror films, it start of slowly like a normal film, no build up or tense music just a phone call which last about twenty seconds as the women hangs up but the man called back and calls back numerous times eventuality finding out the man on the phone has been watching her and has here boyfriend. Tracking shots and close up shows what type of emotion she is in which is upset and scared. the enigma code is about how this weird man decide to plan a game with a women he doesn't know and if she loses her boyfriend dies. Dramatic slow motion is used to build up the tension for example when Casey comes face to face with the man with the mask on.
